Rutger
The Dutch song was for a cancer raising awareness event I took part in in 1979. It's a long and sad success story which I will write more on eventually.

Your passport must hold more country destination stamps than can be imagined. Is there any place in the world where you've not yet set foot which you'd like to visit in your lifetime?

I just got a new one. It had expired. AND greencard was recently stolen along with creditcarrrrds. I tell you when you move around I have learned to accept that things dissappear, get stolen or lost. Occupational hazard. I'd love to see more of Russia, Canada, Scotland winkydinky.

Any directing projects on the horizon?

Cazzz wrote a sweet short poem which I worked on some more. Would be a very interesting short film. And I have been talking to a writer y'day. Showed her 'The Room'. So proud of that small big little piece. I was really hoping to return from being shot in 'Alias', but alas. I guess they are having some "identity" and rating problems. I had such an amazing relation with JJ Abrams, can't believe it's all history. Such an inspiring feeling.

Y'day got another P ticket. Some of them wing it with me when they see my SUV socially unacceptable vehicle and others just write.

Zapppppppa o man he is/was/4ever will be. Love him/his stuff. Webmaster is a zappafreak as well.
I try whizzing wit through anything I do but it does not always survive the editing process which is fair enough. Directors don't always get it or think it just does not fit. Their choice, absolutely.

I find romance going south a lot for actors of my age. Not juicy or chewy or witty enough. Brrrrr. Working on it, of course, I think I have a lot to tell. But it's about the love that rocks harder than the rolling stones if you get my drift, can't stand that soapy chewinggumlove sh*t.

I get up at 5:30 and spend an hour each day at least to just burn and I am slowly succeeding now to lose a certain puffybuffysnufffy face and body which has been weighing me down somewhat in the last 10 yrs or so. Not complaining.

It's often said that actors fear working with children and animals due to their unpredictability. Have you had any scary moments with animals or kids which you could share with us?

A tiger bit me gently in the head once and he was not kidding and neither was I but it is a longer story which will show up in the forevernothappening autobio.

The Room. Watching it again y'day made me realize I have never come closer to JUST being a vehicle for a story to pass.

Dutch. The music was used after a German singer called Hannes Waader. Maybe you can ask for a translation through the site. I wrote the lyrics. Was pretty sad and cynical.

It's about a seventeen yr old kid who died of cancer while hospitals threatened to close hospitalrooms. I got 250,000 autographs and went to the Goverment. We got lucky. Turned the closure around. One of the bigger real successes in my life.

The Guinness ads which you made for the UK ran for a long time and were very popular here. How much direct personal input did you have (if any) in these wacky ads and were you generally pleased with them?

The Guinness was a real collaboration between writers, directors and myself. So great. They never saw it coming. It needed a fine foolishness, wit, wizzdom, mystery, etc.

Are u still going back to school? I think u mentioned that in the past....

Teaching end having a ball are very much planned. The everchanging schedule makes it almost impossible. And the same goes for charity. These things need so much time to organize and it is so difficult sometimes to show up.

I'm connecting with her weekly, daily sometimes. She has been accepted in a chessclub and plays games after having just taught herself how to play. At the same time all functions including brain, heart, speech etc keep throwing her off the board so to speak. She misses talking/writing to you but cannot do it anymore. I'll tell her you said hi.

I'm dying to go sailing. Rent boats here. It works well. But bizzzzzyetc.

Spelunking is something I don't think I ever did, maybe subconsciously? What is it? It sounds like uhmm nasty...Is it done outside or indoors? Or in caves?

Do you really do your own stunt driving?

A lot...not as much as I can and did too. Raced each day for a month through the thinnest desert sand in Morocco with other drivers to the set. Won each time. These are important racing matters...Desertstorm, that was me.
