Bucharest, June 12, 2008

Today off. Did rent a car and drove around some. Began putting pool together in Singureni and tonight we fill it with water. Will go by there to see temp in the morning.

Saw sweet Italian film. No subtitles but could still follow.

On the way back I count the dead dogs on the roads.

There are many dogs here.

I have seen this before in poor countries. No new paint on the houses. Old empty structures. New half built empty structures.

But the dogs remain with me. Sigh. Damnit.
