Plot:
This documentary ("The Knight and the Fakir", namely Rutger Hauer and Jos Bergman), aired by the Dutch T.V. at the end of 1999, is a tribute to the very successful "Floris" TV episodes produced in 1968/69.
Some of the cast and crew members, as well as the director and the script writer, talk about the shooting of this series and recall nice and curious episodes happened 30 years ago. They also give some "technical" explanations about its production.
Notes:
This documentary has been shot in Holland and in the USA, where interviews to cast and crew members took place. The production of "De Ridder en de Fakir" lasted 18 weeks.
The "Floris" TV series is considered now a milestone in the Dutch TV history and is celebrated with various exhibitions all over the Netherlands.
