Plot: After serving 15 years for the murder of his wife, which he says he did not commit, Ben is out on parole and Laura, a social worker, is trying to find him a job. She soon feels he is innocent, against all the gossiping of her fellow townspeople. She starts investigating to discover the truth and soon someone begins to terrorize her. Ben and Laura fall in love with each other, Ben is worried she may get into trouble by digging deeper into this muddy old story, but she is very determined, although other deaths start to pave her way to the final truth.
