Plot:
The film talks about a small Dutch town during the Nazi Occupation.
It's a story of people who have no experience at all in doing something against their Government, and of their lives which are deeply changed by those events.
There is an eleven minute scene showing a group of men discussing about various methods of killing a collaborator, only to discover in the end that he is the wrong person.
All conflicts and contradictions come to the surface, while the population is trying to rebel against the invaders and their supporters.
Notes:
Rutger appears in the final scenes of this movie as the SSer August Schultz, in a sort of cameo role.
