Plot:
Lucy's father has lost his job and Lucy goes to live with her grandmother, who presents her with a magic ruby ring that can make two wishes come true.
By trying it, suddenly Lucy finds herself projected some 100 years back, and she goes through a lot of adventures, she loses her ring - the only way to come back home - meets a nice scoundrel, Patrick, and falls in love with the son of the rich family for which she has to work.
At the end, Patrick, who is the one who grabbed and kept her ring, is moved by Lucy's story, gives it back to her and she can eventually return to her present, familiar days - having learnt something important from the experience she had gone through.
