Notes:
On November 30, 2000, the "My VH1 Music Awards" star-studded ceremony took place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. It was announced as the first-ever fully interactive music awards show, where all the winners (e.g. Robbie Williams as "Best UK Act", Faith Hill as "Sexxxiest Video" and "Woman of the Year", Carlos Santana as "Man of the Year", etc.) were elected by the fans on the VH1.com channel's website.
The voting continued right up to the presentation of the prizes. The host of the ceremony was John Leguizamo.
Rutger's sketch is a very ironic and tongue-in-cheek short skit aired during the live show as a pre-recorded segment.
