Ascent to Forever

The light has fallen onto the rocks below,
Mist forms on inviting shadows beckoning.

Calling us to forget the past, endless,
Air of night forever being unknown.

Strangers, Lovers finding their way thru,
Truth hidden in plain sight elusive.

Paths of timelessness lead us along,
Searching our quest has just begun.

Leading ourselves into the searing abyss,
Strength from pain will be our salvation.

From the edge of tomorrow illuminating,
Shines the soul reflecting passion, torment

Ascending the stairs to perpetual freedom,
Destiny lies within, minds unlocking doors
