Reason

I sit awake while angels die,

Their tale was bright but all a lie.

A dream I wanted to remain,
Left me cold and near insane.

To feel my pain as I found out,
What all my life had been about.

I thought that reason was the key,
To living life in dignity.

To my surprise I've come to find,
That empathy gave peace of mind.

My search for truth had left me blind,
To love
And Life
And all Mankind
