I'd never known passion.
It suddenly came,
Caught my mind by obsession,
Set my heart on a flame,
Crushed my weakening will,
Turned me into a slave;
And I lay, chained and still,
In a dark hideous cave.
I hated the capture
And longed to break free,
But my heart thrilled with rapture
For the one who caught me.
