The Last Kiss
© by Julie Till
The clock is ticking,
Can you hear it?
I hear it now.
For a long time, all I heard was your breathing.
The clock is ticking,
I still hear it.
The air is heavy
And so quiet, but I am with you.
The clock is ticking
But you can't hear it?
The world still turns,
'But you don't feel it, because you've gone.
The clock is ticking,
But I don't hear it.
My heart is breaking.
You have left me, I kiss your face.
