Sunrise Sunset
by Sue Kugler
As I look to the west
I see the sun set
It's the most majestic sight
It says to me, "Good night"
I'm awestruck
What luck
That I could be
So fortunate
To see
Such an incredible view
Each night it's something new
No two
Are the same
Each has a different name
One is called, "Drink With a Straw"
I'm so in awe
Another called, "Be My Lover"
Then, "Kiss me now"
Next, "Don't Allow
Anything
To Bring
This To An End"
Then, "Be My Friend"
Now, here's the best
When the sun sets
In the West
The Moon comes into view
Saying, "I Love You"
The sun turns very red
And gets even hotter, it's said
Blushing, it takes a bow
As it says, "Good night now"
