Nomads World
© by Beatriz MP

Why should we be friends
if we´ll say goodbye
Why should we be mates
if we´ll follow different paths
A sailor in a wood
a stranger with no route
if I miss your boat
I am a nomad forgood
In the roads where I walk I see your address
in the travel agencies I read your name
Time keeps tracing a thousand miles
in any station between us
Tears can´t erase the shape of a true smile
everyday I pack this thought in my mind
The lamps in the night are sentinels of light
the castles in the sky a dreamer´s flight
Different countries and the same destiny,
living your fiction is my reality
