"After working in the eye of the public for thirty-some years, I harboured a desire to give something back.
I decided to use my status after seeing the children and pregnant women suffering with HIV/AIDS.
The first step has been my website. I decided to allow fans and movie-goers to relate to the work I did and the person I am. Through this medium of cyberspace, I found a legion of fans.
Starfish was born to give meaning to that purpose.
Fans, you have the rare opportunity to give back and to share with me the concerns of this badly needed initiative.
Open your hearts and give what you can. You'll breathe life into Starfish and I hope it will grow.
