2008 I'Ve Seen Films - International Short Film Festival

The 2008 I've Seen Films Festival ended on September 26, 2008, with Rutger and the Festival's International Jury also assigning a special 'Film4AIDS' award to one of the many short films on the AIDS subject received from all over the world.
This award, bearing the name of OILILY, the Dutch luxury fashion company that is also focused on supporting social causes,went to 'Plague Spreader' by a very young and talented Italian filmmaker, Francesco Calderone.

'Plague Spreader', showing a young man who is running, chased at first by one person, and then by a multitude of people, received this special OILILY award with the following motivation:
"It conveys in a silent but very focused and modern way the message that the AIDS virus keeps on spreading around in an unstoppable way. A reminder that we have the power to keep on fighting together against this nasty disease".
