CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE

St. John's (Newfoundland), October 1, 2006 - "The event is the "CIBC Run for the Cure" which is a fundraiser for breast cancer research/support held all across Canada on October 1. 

This one was held in St. John's, Newfoundland (a small city of 150,000) and 3,000 participants raised about $325,000 (Cdn$). There is music, food and general camaraderie as well as the run itself. My group did the 1 km."

This one shows all the breast cancer victims in the crowd who were invited onto the stage... that's me with the bald head in the front.

This picture shows a close-up of the hat so you can see the signature and precious coffee stains (lol!).

This is my daughter and Scorch, the mascot of our local ice hockey team, the Fog Devils.
