Starfish AIDS Awareness Event
A 'Positively HIV Boat Trip'- Cape Town (South Africa) - December 2, 2004

This was the day of a small boat tour inside the Cape Town harbour of 35 HIV+ ladies. With some drinks and cakes. They were all smiling and singing all kinds of songs.

Songs about their men being away and so much needed. Songs about their piece of ass.

About what they do and say. I could not understand a single word, but could read their faces. It was a massive, powerful and deeply moving experience.

An experience that also helped me in connecting with some key people there for our next concrete support addressed to those women and their kids.
