October 12, 2000 Fundraising Event
Treasure Beach, Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos Islands (BWI)

The Invitation

Many wonderful people contributed to the success of this event, with their help, their enthusiasm, their friendship and their priceless support. My heartfelt thanks go to all of them.

With Frank (left) and Michael.
They organized the event

What a funny, "steamy" night!!
Was it only due to the booze???
Nope!

No, it wasn't raining. It was plainly damn hot!
The wonderful girls of the Clement Howell High School Steel Band
In loving memory of one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met in my life, Debra

The band's director and a nice lady from the Howell Band

Other lovely girls from the Clement Howell High School Steel Band. Their rhythm, their eyes, their smiles...
The Band into action
In the middle, Sam and his wonderful wife Camille. I couldn't have started this big endeavour without Sam's valuable help and support. Thanks, Doc !
Talking about eyes and smiles.... never saw such bright sweet ones
Some friends, having fun
So many wonderful friends to thank....

Other supporting friends...
How many colors has a rainbow? That evening, they were all so bright. They were painted with our hearts.

My warmest thanks also go to Timothy O'Sullivan and Adrian Corr, the Rutger Hauer Starfish Foundation's lawyers. They set the organization up so quickly, relieving me of a lot of beaurocratic work and offering their precious professional support.

And to Cherlyann Jones, the lady who is working for the T&C Ministry of Health, AIDS department. This special woman is doing so much for so many people there.
